A Little Bit 'o This!

Hello!

Just thought I'd share a new game.

Well, I say "game", but there's not really a lot of it to play. It was made in a hurry for a friendly competition on the AGS forums. It's really short. :D

It's called "Dead Hand", and it's about a mysterious serial killer on the loose.

The controls are simple. Hold down the right mouse button and drag to rotate the environments. Click the left button to interact with things!

It's pretty rough around the edges and, like I said, there's not much to it.

But...enjoy!

Hello! Haven't been back in a while, so my apologies to anyone who may have been wondering just where I was and what I was doing.

Oh, nobody was? Oh good, then I've been here all the time! Where the hell have you been?!

Some news:

The downloads for Heartland Deluxe and Unbound have been experiencing a little hiccup recently, and I'm currently creating alternate download mirrors. As in right this very minute! In fact, typing this post is delaying me in doing so, so I'll cut it short. :P

I'll add a little "Everything is fine!" notice when the games are back up.

UPDATE: Everything is fine! I've mirrored both Heartland Deluxe and Unbound. (Un)Fortunately, Mediafire was the answer. You can access the downloads from the regular download pages...

Out of (Un)bounds!

LimpingFish is pleased to announce the release of his second game...Unbound!

A short follow-up to Heartland Deluxe, Unbound explores the fallout from Project Caterpillar (as mentioned in Heartland Deluxe) and introduces a new character to the story in the shape of Dr. Howard Fielding, last surviving member of the ill-fated project team.

Things haven't been moving as quickly on my second game as I would like, but I've added a small update to the production thread here.

Interlude

The man in the room is okay.
All the suffering in the world doesn't upset him.
What a great life you can have, thinks the man.
How happy you can be, if you just don't care.

Interlude

He watches the clock, and thinks of the things he doesn't own.
Like a big screen TV, or a waffle iron.
He decides it's for the best.
The hands of the clock haven't moved in a very long time.

Nothing makes sense, said the man with his finger on the pulse, but I'll smile anyway.

That way maybe no-one will notice, and I can go home and watch that show that I like, about the lesbian gymnasts-in-training

The pulse skipped a beat, but the man never noticed.

Top of the World, Ma!

Heartland Deluxe has been featured in Independent Gaming's Top 20 Adventure Games of 2006, clocking in at number seven. Whoo! :D

Heartland Deluxe appears in this months Games For Windows magazine (US).
It seems to be connected to the 1up.com feature mentioned in the last post, as the the write-up for each game is identical and both are Ziff Davis Media properties.
